Beginning May 29, 2012, Smart Lunch,Smart Kid – with the help of local volunteers – is providing healthy meals every weekday as well as educational enrichment opportunities to Atlanta children in need during the summer.
Nutritious sack lunches are delivered to Operation PEACE Summer Academy as well as to children who live on Boulevard who are not enrolled in camp.
SLSK operates out of Inman Park United Methodist Church (1015 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta 30307).
How Can I Help?
We need Volunteer Drivers!
These volunteers serve in 2-person teams, pledging to pick up lunches at 11:00 am from Inman Park UMC and deliver directly to Operation PEACE Summer Academy.
Volunteer Drivers assume the cost of gas and use of their car as part of their volunteering efforts.
