‘Miracle Balloons’ Fly for Kroger’s Annual Children’s Miracle Network Fundraiser Benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
Kroger stores in the Atlanta area will soon be full of “Miracle Balloons” for an annual fundraiser benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – a member hospital of the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). From May 13 to June 2, customers can purchase $1 hot-air balloon icons at checkout to help Kroger reach its goal of raising $350,000 to benefit local children’s hospitals.
“The Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser is something we look forward to every year” says Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “It’s an amazing opportunity for our community to support local children’s hospitals and the families they serve. We are honored to be a part of this life-changing campaign.”
CMN, one of the world’s leading children’s charities, is a nonprofit organization that raises money for more than 170 hospitals nationwide, affecting the lives of more children than any other organization in the world. Donations to CMN help ensure children’s hospitals have the resources they need to help diagnose or treat every disease and injury imaginable, thus saving and improving the lives of 17 million children each year.
Proceeds collected through Kroger’s fundraiser will benefit local CMN member hospitals throughout the Atlanta Division, which includes Georgia, South Carolina, Northern Alabama and Eastern Tennessee. To find a store near you, please visit www.kroger.com.
