The Adopt-a-Highway litter pickup event is back.

Volunteers will gather at the old Varsity Jr. location on the corner of Lindbergh Drive and LaVista Road at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 for the monthly Adopt-a-Highway clean-up in the area.

The pick-up takes less than an hour, especially with a large crew.

Bring gloves and reachers if you have them. Snacks and water will be provided.
