American Roadhouse Adds Dinner, Full Bar Under New Owner

The beloved top brunch and breakfast spot will now serve dinner and has a full bar and wine list.

This year, American Roadhouse in Virginia-Highland will celebrate its 24th year of business– no small feat for any business.

The thriving restaurant known for its highly recommended breakfasts and brunch dishes now has a new owner, Emile Blau, reports the Virginia-Highland Voice.

Blau previously was a managing partner at Bones and general manager at Chops. He bought American Roadhouse from former owner Ed Udoff in November, a couple months after the VaHi mainstay failed its health inspection. (In January, two months after Blau took over, the restaurant scored a 94.)

Although Blau has made significant upgrades to the restaurant, he said he plans to keep the restaurant’s essence the same.
