Another Emory Village Business is Closing
The coffee shop Steady Hand Pour House has announced that it will close "very soon."
The posts said the coffee is house is "not being allowed to continue at 1593 N Decatur Rd." and says the business is having to move to make way for the brew pub that will move into the Everybody's Pizza space.
In another post on Facebook, the owners of Steady Hand thanked customers and said they haven't nailed down their last day of operations:
We are sorry to inform everyone but we are being forced to close our doors at 1593 N Decatur Rd. We don't have a definite date yet but it will be very soon. We are shocked but ready to rock on! We will have more info in the coming days. You can keep up with our FB and twitter for updates. We love all of you dearly and thank you so much for all of your love and support. We will survive.
Steady Hand is known for preparing each cup of coffee by hand, most of them using beakers, filters and other equipment reminiscent of a science lab.
AJC.COM reports that the space now occupied by Everybody's Pizza will become home to an eatery called Slice & Pint. The owner and brewmaster of 5 Seasons Brewing Co. will open the new restaurant in a few months and an on-site brewery will come later.
