An Inman parent asks the demographers how the proposals address the overcrowding at Inman.

The demographers hired by Atlanta Public Schools fielded questions from Grady High School and Jackson High School parents Monday night.

"What is the plan, and equally important, what is the timeline to address the current overcrowding issues at Inman Middle School?" an Inman parent asked Monday night.

Inman Middle School, which feeds into Grady, is among several overcrowded schools in the district. Parents are concerned the latest redistricting proposals fail to address overcrowding at the Virginia-Highland middle school.

Matthew Cropper, one of the demographers working on the project, said "some change has to occur" by redistricting areas on the outer boundary of the zone.
