Atlanta Residents: Voice Your Opinions on City Services
A community meeting on Sat. March 24 will give residents the opportunity to talk about city services
Atlanta residents will have the opportunity to give input on city services at a public meeting with city officials later this month.
The community input meeting on Saturday, March 24, is intended to give residents a look at department budgets for next year and allow residents to offer feedback about the level of services provided.
“It’s imperative that we know what the departments’ funding needs are in order to provide their quality services that our residents expect,” Finance Committee Chairwoman Felicia Moore said in a statement.
A survey will be distributed at the meeting and will also be available online.
“This survey is part of our new way of including residents and stakeholders in the 2013 city budget review process,” Moore said.
This will be an opportunity to discuss a variety of topics from sidewalk repairs to 911 calls.
