CVS, Fresh to Order are the Latest Openings at Emory Point

Two more businesses have opened at Emory Point in recent days as the first phase of the mixed-use development approaches completion.

A CVS pharmacy and a Fresh to Order eatery are both greeting customers at Emory Point, which is just across from the entrance to the Centers for Disease Control.

The CVS location includes a Minute Clinic, a walk-in clinic offering care for colds, flus and other ailments. Fresh to Order has more than half a dozen locations across metro Atlanta with the motto "Fine.Food.Fast!"

December say a flurry of openings, including Marlow's Tavern; Which Wich Superior Sandwiches; Strippaggio, a shop specializing in artisanal oils, vinegars and other foods; Bonefish Grill and others.

Coming soon: Paradise Biryani Pointe, an Indian café with Persian and Middle Eastern influence, General Muir, a restaurant from the people behind West Egg Cafe, and the first Atlanta location of Burgerfi, a Florida-based restaurant specializing in locally-sourced, all-natural burgers.

The 80,000-square-foot retail component of the first phase is 90 percent committed, with three spaces remaining available for lease, according to a news release from the developers.

Preparations have begun Phase II of the development, which will include an additional 40,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Construction is scheduled to being in early summer.

“Our commitment to bringing a diverse mix of retailers, restaurants and professional services to the area has resonated well with the surrounding neighborhoods and communities,” Mike Cohn, Cousins’ executive vice president, said in a news release.

“Emory Point has had a very successful opening and we look forward to seeing the development grow as merchants continue to open and Phase II planning progresses.”
