Don’t Want to Cook for Christmas? Here’s Where You Can Eat Out

Here are some options if you want to celebrate the holiday at a local restaurant, and not at the stove.

Perhaps you have to work on Christmas. Or you don’t like to cook. Luckily, there are a few restaurants in and around the neighborhood that will be open and serving.

Call ahead to check if you need a reservation because many eateries get booked on the holidays:

Atkins Park Tavern in Virginia Highlands is offering a special Christmas dinner, including smoked turkey breast and braised pork shoulder. Some later seating times are still available.

The Dark Horse Tavern will be open as it is every day of the year and offering a selection of tavern food.

Cowtippers in Midtown will offer a traditional Christmas dinner with turkey, dressing and all the trimmings.

Southern Art and Bourbon Bar in Buckhead will offer a Christmas brunch from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

If you want a less traditional meal, Bhojanic  near Decatur will be open and serving its regular menus of Indian food.

Other restaurants scheduled to be open on Christmas day include: Einstein's, Nakato Japanese Restaurant - Traditional Dining and Sushi Bar, Ruth's Chris Steak House in Buckhead, Spice Market in Midtown, and Tamarind Seed.
