Emory Hillel Center to Host Dali Exhibit

"Aliyah, The Rebirth of Israel" will be on display from March 17 through June.

The Marcus Hillel Center at will feature a rare exhibit by Salvador Dali later this month that commemorates Jewish history.

All 25 pieces of the limited edition lithographs entitled “Aliyah, The Rebirth of Israel" will be on display from March 17 through June.

The exhibit “portrays the history of the Jewish people's return to their homeland,” according to the Hillel website.

Only 250 sets of the prints were published in 1968 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Israel.

The exhibit is on loan to the university from Emory Professor David Blumenthal.

Earlier this year, “Dali: The Late Work” was featured at the High Museum in Midtown Atlanta. The curator of the exhibit, Dr. Elliot King, will speak at the March 17 at Emory University.
