Emory Receives $10 Million for Breast Cancer Research

The donation will be given to the Winship Cancer Institute.

 

Emory University has received a $10 million donation dedicated to breast cancer research.

The donation from the Wilbur and Hilda Glenn Family was given to the university's Winship Cancer Institute, according to a Fox 5 News report.

From the story:

The Glenn Foundation money will help build up Winship's cancer biospecimen bank, clinical trials, community access, and a multidisciplinary approach to screening and caring for women at high risk for the disease.
