1. "Tellabration" Family Storytelling

Why Go: Tellabration is a night of storytelling from all over the world! Celebrate the power of storytelling as the area's best stories, storytellers and storytelling traditions are showcased.

2. Virginia-Highland Church Yard Sale
When/Where: Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Virginia Highland Church, 743 Virginia Ave.

When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University, 571 S Kilgo Cir.
Why Go: The Somewhere Summit is an open arts dialogue designed for Atlanta-based artists, scholars, arts administrators and other cultural workers interested in gaining a deeper understanding of how Atlanta artists are positioned within a global contemporary art framework.

4. Movie night at Shearith Israel
When/Where: Saturday, 6 to 9 p.m. at 1180 University Dr.
Why Go: Congregation Shearith Israel is hosting a movie night with movies for all ages: Tree of Life (PG-13), Avatar (PG-13) and Yogi Bear (PG). The movies are free. Proceeds from the drinks and snacks benefit the youth programs.

When/Where: Sunday, 2 p.m. at Emory University, Mary Gray Monroe Theater, 1256 Briarcliff Rd.
Why Go: Theater Emory presents Jane Austen’s Persuasion, adapted and directed by John Ammerman. From Jane Austen’s classic novel, Persuasion follows heroine Anne Eliot as she attempts to regain the love of Captain Frederick Wentworth, whose company she allowed herself to be persuaded away from in youth.
