Jimmy Carter to Discuss 30 Years of The Carter Center Tuesday Night

The webcast of the event is free

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, will reflect on 30 years of the Carter Center's peace and health initiatives around the world during a town-hall style discussion Tuesday night.

The sold-out event starts at 7p.m. and will be webcast for free on the Carter Center website.

The Carters will take audience questions, and also respond to questions submitted in advance.

The event kicks off the Conversations at The Carter Center series, which includes discussions on the potential impact of new Chinese leadership, work to eliminate the neglected disease trachoma in Africa, creating opportunities for people with mental illnesses to live meaningful lives in their communities, and Venezuela's political future ahead of key October elections.
