New Year's Week Trash and Recycling Schedule
Take note of changes to the garbage and recycling pickup schedule for the rest of this week.
ATLANTA
There was no collection on Tuesday, New Year's Day. Pickups will be delayed by one day after the holiday for the remainder of the week. The schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday pickup will take place on Wednesday.
- Wednesday collections will occur on Thursday.
- Thursday collections will occur on Friday.
DEKALB COUNTY
- There will be no blue recyling box pickups this week.
- Monday, Dec. 31 was a normal garbage and yard waste pickup day.
- Pickups did not take place on Tuesday, which is New Year's Day. Garbage and yard waste normally picked up on Tuesday will be collected Wednesday.
- Thursday and Friday will be normal pickup days.
