Playwright and performer Katori Hall, whose play, The Mountaintop, won the 2010 Olivier Award for Best New Play and opened on Broadway in 2011, visits Emory University to present the Creative Writing Series' Phillis Wheatley Reading.
This event is cosponsored by the Department of African American Studies.
A book signing will follow the reading.
*Don't miss Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company production of Hall's The Mountaintop directed by Jasmine Guy running through December 16, 2012 at the Southwest Arts Center.

More About Robert W. Woodruff Library at Emory University
Located on Emory University's main campus, the Robert W. Woodruff Library is Emory's main research library, housing a large array of books, manuscripts and periodicals. The library has special visitor hours for non-Emory students and faculty, as well as computer access and wireless internet. Woodruff library is also home to the Jazzman's cafe coffee shop, which is located on the first floor.
