<h2>Kids Day brings together a number of environmental groups, recycling partners and corporate partners to provide interactive and educational activities for kids. The purpose of the event is to mobilize kids throughout Metro Atlanta to actively engage in recycling and reusing items that will ultimately benefit the environment.Kids Day is focused on recycling, materials management and how to live a sustainable lifestyle.</h2>
Kids Day Activities Include:&nbsp;<ul><li>Atlanta ToolBank: Atlanta ToolBank will have a hands-on craft opportunity to build small cars. </li><li>Bee Downtown: Bringing honey samples and a live observation hive, Bee Downtown will be providing buzz-worthy interactive fun for the kids!</li><li>BelterTech: Learn as BelterTech transforms hard-to-recycle plastics into building material. </li><li>Chick-fil-A: The Chick-fil-A Cow will be onsite visiting with Kids Day participants. </li><li>CompostNow: Compost Now will be talking about the importance of composting. </li><li>Cricket’s Mobile Petting Zoo: Visit everyone’s favorite furry friends including goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks and sheep! </li><li>Novelis: The Novelis “Can Man” will be back again this year encouraging kids to recycle aluminum cans. They’ll also be giving out Novelis coloring books and Can Man plushies at their booth. </li><li>Old Castle Infrastructure, A CRH Company: Old Castle Infrastructure will be working with kids to discuss how to keep stormwater clean.</li><li>Science ATL: Kids can guess how long it takes for materials to decompose at the Science ATL booth. </li><li>Scraplanta: Scraplanta Creative Reuse is a 501(c)3 non-profit on a mission to empower artists, makers, teachers, and students to create beautiful works of art from discarded materials. The Scraplanta team will be onsite creating arts and crafts from recycled materials.</li><li>State Farm: Learn about plant pollinators with State Farm. Kids will be able to take pollinator seeds home to plant! </li><li>The Gift of Music Foundation: Miss LaLa’s Instrument Petting Zoo in conjunction with The Gift of Music will have several instruments on hand for the kids to play. Trying new things builds confidence and creating music brings instant satisfaction, so people of all ages can stop by to experience the joy of music. </li><li>Zoo Atlanta: Learn about gorilla conservation and how recycling YOUR cell phones saves gorilla habitats! Bring your old cell phones to recycle at Kids Day. </li><li>Cornhole, chalk art, games, crafts and more!</li></ul>

fundamental footwork and turns of Salsa &amp;

Beginner Level 2 -
Comfortable with Right Turns, Left Turns and 
can lead and/or follow the basic turn patterns 
such as Crossbody lead into the turns. Looking 
to add more Salsa patterns 
while reinforcing the basic steps.

Beyond Basic -- Featuring Al "Liquid Silver" Espinoza 
If you go out Latin dancing on a regular basis and 
proficient in crossbody leads, Inside and 
outside turns. Lets add to your Latin dance repertoire.

Join us for our annual Georgia Craft Brewers Festival on Saturday, May 18th at Westside Paper in Atlanta!&nbsp;
From 1pm through 5pm (VIP at 12pm)
This celebration brings together craft beer lovers for a day full of special collaboration brews, live music, local food, social meet-ups, a maker's market, and more! With 50 participating breweries from across Georgia, this is not an event you'll want to miss!
This event is organized by and supports the non-profit Georgia Craft Brewers Guild, which is dedicated to serving Independent Craft Breweries! In addition to supporting our brewing industry across the state, the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild advocates for positive changes to beer laws to help local breweries not just survive, but thrive.
We are also proud to announce that a certain amount of proceeds will be donated to Giving Kitchen, an amazing organization that provides emergency assistance for food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources.

Regular tickets: This ticket is good for one general admission seat into the 2-hour John Edward event.
VIP tickets: 
Each VIP ticket includes a 3-month subscription to Evolve Plus (John's new app). 
Also included in the as a VIP is the opportunity to stay after the event for a conversation, question and answer session with John and the other VIPs. 
This event lasts a minimum of 20 minutes right after the regular event. In addition to that each person holding a VIP ticket gets to bypass the regular line and join a special VIP line. <a href="https://www.wesleywoods.org/foundation/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Foundation of Wesley Woods</a> announced the 2024 honorees of its esteemed <a href="https://www.wesleywoods.org/foundation/special-events/hsl/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Heroes, Saints &amp; Legends</a> Awards to be presented at their Gala on September 19, 2024, at Flourish in Buckhead. Celebrating its 35th anniversary, this long-standing event recognizes outstanding individuals in business and philanthropy who have enriched Atlanta's community through a lifetime of achievement and commitment to leadership, service, and philanthropy. 

The distinguished honorees are Renee Lewis Glover, founder and managing member of the Catalyst Group and former President and CEO of the Atlanta Housing Authority, and the husband-and-wife team Glenn and Susan Warren, esteemed leaders and advocates for Wesley Woods and Atlanta's broader philanthropic community. 
The annual <a href="https://www.wesleywoods.org/foundation/special-events/hsl/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Heroes, Saints, &amp; Legends Gala</a> is a beacon of hope for more than 1800 older adults residing in Wesley Woods residential communities across North Georgia. Through the unwavering support of sponsors and attendees, the Gala provides essential resources for charitable care, pastoral care, and innovative wellness programming. Since its inception in 1990, the event has honored 114 exemplary leaders, raising over $8.2 million for the Foundation of Wesley Woods. 
"As we commemorate our 35th anniversary, we are honored to recognize individuals whose visionary leadership has reshaped Atlanta's landscape.," said Diane Vaughan, president of the Foundation for Wesley Woods. "Renee Glover's transformative initiatives in reimagining Atlanta's public housing communities, coupled with the Warren family's long legacy and profound impact on Wesley Woods residential communities, epitomize our commitment and compassion for underserved older adults.”
Vaughan further highlighted the remarkable civic contributions of the 2024 honorees, citing Glover's ten board appointments, including Habitat for Humanity International and Fannie Mae, alongside the Warren's extensive involvement with non-profit institutions, including the Good Samaritan Health Center, the Candler School of Theology, the Atlanta Speech School, and Northside United Methodist Church, among others. 
In commemorating the Gala's milestone anniversary, Wesley Woods will extend invitations to and recognize all previous honorees, fostering an evening of celebration and camaraderie. 
Individuals and corporations are encouraged to show their support by sponsoring the event. “Event sponsorships play a crucial role in the success of Heroes, Saints &amp; Legends, and in turn, enable our older adults to thrive,” said Vaughan.
