The upcoming gala in Buckhead will pay tribute to mothers who are most often victims and ultimately victors of this senseless crime.

The event benefitting Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) will take place May 10, 2014. The premier fundraising gala will be hosted and emceed by WSB-TV’s senior anchor, Jovita Moore. Hosted at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead, the event will offer a silent and live auction, dinner and entertainment. The black tie event will be attended by more than 450 Atlanta community leaders, prominent individuals and top business executives.

The upcoming gala will pay tribute to mothers who are most often victims and ultimately victors of this senseless crime. Truly celebrating the Mother’s Day holiday in style, guests are invited to bring their mothers for an evening of inspiration. Hearts with Hope guests will be offered discounted room rates and are encouraged to stay for  the renowned Sunday Mother’s Day Brunch at the Ritz-Carlton.

PADV will host the annual event with the support of its leading sponsors Verizon Wireless, FHL Bank Atlanta, Northside Hospital and The Home Depot. Five Legacy Society members will also be recognized during the evening. The society honors people who have given their support, energy and resources to help shape PADV into the wonderful organization it is today.

All money raised during this memorable evening will fund PADV’s general operating budget; without which, the organization would not be able to help those that become victims of domestic abuse. Serving metro Atlanta since 1975, PADV helps to transform the lives of 20,000 individuals every year through emergency intervention, violence prevention, and long-term advocacy.
