Atlantic Station Adds Playground for Midtown Families

Beginning the first week of August, Midtown families will be able to enjoy a topnotch playground at Atlantic Station. CBRE and Atlantic Station will host a ribbon cutting ceremony Aug. 6 at 10 a.m.

“The playground marks our continued effort to provide family-friendly options for the community,” said Daniel Easton, director of marketing at Atlantic Station. “We’re happy to offer a fun, safe play area for children and their families to spend time together.”

The playground, owned and managed by CBRE and CBRE Global Investors, is located on 17th Street near the car charging station. It is open to the public from 8 a.m. to dusk daily.

For safety, playground equipment is designated by age group and is shaded, fenced in and handicap accessible. It has been developed by Landscape Structures, a leading playground manufacturer.

In addition to the new playground, families can enjoy Tot Spot every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon in Atlantic Station’s Central Park. The weekly event offers family-friendly activities for young children.
