JINGLE ALL THE WAY TO ATKINS PARK RESTAURANT & BAR’S EIGHTH ANNUAL SANTA RIDE ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11

Who: Atkins Park Restaurant & Bar is proud to be recognized as Atlanta’s oldest continuously licensed tavern. The neighborhood restaurant is the perfect spot to bring the family, enjoy weekend brunch or stop by for late-night drinks.

What: Get in the festive spirit at the eighth annual Santa Ride. One of founder Warren Bruno’s favorite events, the eight mile ride includes various stops along the route for some holiday cheer. Along with a helmet and mandatory front and rear bike lights, Santa hats, elf costumes, holiday lights and jingle bells are all strongly encouraged. Those getting decked out can also enter the costume contest, a new addition to the Santa Ride tradition. This fundraiser for the 2014 Race Across America Georgia Chain Gang benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Entry fee is a $25 suggested donation to the charity. For more information about the Georgia Chain Gang, please visit their Facebook page.

Once the ride is finished, participants and non-participants are all welcome to stay for dinner or drinks to cap off the evening. Unfortunately, Santa is not picking up the tab, so guests are responsible for their own food and drink.

In case of inclement weather, Atkins Park will post an announcement on Facebook the day of the event by 3 p.m.
