NEW Midtown Preschool at 4th and Peachtree Opening in August!

This August Midtown will have a new preschool housed at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer on 4th and Peachtree.  

Midtown Lutheran Preschool will offer half day Preschool and Parent Day Out programs (9AM-1PM) to children starting at 9 months through pre-K age.  PDO plans to have pre-scheduled and drop-in opportunities. 

Our Mission: Midtown Lutheran Preschool nurtures and educates children to be wholehearted, compassionate, principled individuals who contribute positively to the world community.  

Our Core Beliefs:

-Children are curious, have an innate desire to learn, and can problem solve.

-Children are individuals who have an impact on, and are affected by, their environment.

-Children are whole beings made by God of mind, body, and spirit.

The curriculum at Midtown Lutheran Preschool will reflect the mission and beliefs by offering an emergent play-based curriculum and will feature the Project Approach for older students (http://www.projectapproach.org/).  Additionally, MTLPS plans to implement a German-English dual-language component and offer enrichment activities like music and movement.

So far, MTLPS has hosted 3 Parent Day Out promotional events which they plan to resume in August.  They also participated with Redeemer during Atlanta Streets Alive on May 18th, and plan to again on September 8th, with offering Labyrinth walks and an open facility.  You can keep track of upcoming events atwww.mtlps.org/events.
