It’s been forty years since the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable emerged as the unique entity it is to make music, mischief, mayhem and memories to the residents of Atlanta and surrounding areas.

This year marks a milestone for the Seed & Feed showing up at local parades, weddings, vineyard awakenings and so much more bringing their special brand of entertainment and merrymaking to events, not only around the southern region of the United States, but to locations in the Northeast (Boston), Southwest, (Austin) and most recently the great Northwest (Seattle);

In their typical, nonconforming fashion, the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable is celebrating their anniversary with performances to surprise and delight communities and neighborhoods around metro Atlanta. Known as “blitzes,” band members, will converge on unsuspecting eateries, parks and other public spaces; play a few tunes and meander onward to the next location. Beginning mid-March, “40 Blitzes in 40 days,” the band will gather, at various locations throughout town, garbed in their colorful wardrobes and perform with all the theatrics and high-energy music for which they are known.

Specific dates, times and locations will soon be available on the website.

The anniversary celebration will culminate at the Inman Park Butterfly Ball on April 25th and explode in a grand frenzy as the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable leads the Inman Park Parade, Saturday April 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
