Fernbank to Host Coyote Forum

Forum to a focus on urban coyote problems in Atlanta

Urban coyotes are a serious concern across many metro-Atlanta neighborhoods.

Earlier this year, a coyote in Decatur killed a cat, and residents in Druid Hills and surrounding neighborhoods have reported coyote sightings this year.

will host of forum on Wednesday, March 7, at 7 p.m. to talk about urban coyote problems in Atlanta.

Dr. Chris Mowry, coyote researcher and chairman of the Biology Department at Berry College and Dr. Larry Wilson, ecologist at Fernbank Science Center, will focus on facts about coyotes and talk about community concerns.
