Why Go: Ruffus Rescue, an all-volunteer dog rescue group, holds a dog adoption event every Saturday and Sunday. Dogs are rescued from shelters all over north Georgia and are looking for new homes. All are spayed or neutered, vaccinate and microchipped and are in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
