Why Go: Make magic with hands-on activities, performances, costumed characters and more during this fun weekend inspired by the special exhibition "Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns and Mermaids."  Costumes are encouraged.

Why Go: Dogs are rescued from shelters all over north Georgia and are looking for new homes. All are spayed or neutered, vaccinated  and microchipped and are in foster homes until  permanent homes can be found. See all the dogs available for adoption and get more information at www.ruffusrescue.org

Why Go: All race and dinner proceeds from this year's Atlanta Pride Run will benefit H.E.R.O. for Children.  H.E.R.O. for Children is a non-profit dedicated to improving quality of life for children infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. "Carb loading" pasta dinner at Einstein's Friday, June 24 @ 7:00 p.m., $20. Registration from 7-7:45am on race day.  Race starts at 8am.

Why Go: The market is located across the street from , next door to  Restaurant.  Local organically grown food.  Chef demonstrations throughout the summer.
