It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.  Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and places to explore.

Why Go: Winter Wonderland will have carnival-style games, food and music. A great event for families.

When/Where: Friday, 8 p.m. at  1700 N Decatur Rd.

Why Go: Vocalist Sachal Vasandani will headline the Emory Jazz Fest, which runs February 10-11.  Vasandani will be joined by the Gary Motley Trio, which includes pianist Gary Motley, Emory University's Director of Jazz Studies, bassist Herman Burney and drummer Terreon Gully.

When/Where: Friday, 8 p.m. at , 980 Briarcliff Rd.

Why Go: Learn about the rhythm and movement of authentic Argentine Tango! Focus on connecting with the music and your partner and learn how two bodies can move as one. Dancers of all skill levels are welcome and no partner is necessary.

The evening begins at 8:00 pm with an introductory lesson from the expert instructors of Tango Rio.  After the introductory lesson, you will be ready to try out your new moves with an open tango dance party beginning at 9:15 pm.

Price: $15 lesson and party; $10 party only

When/Where: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at , 1615 Clifton Rd.

Why Go: The event will include a silent auction, and individuals served by UCP of Georgia will model the fashions of presenting sponsor K & G Fashion Superstore. All proceeds will support the programs and services of UCP of Georgia, an organization dedicated to helping provide a Life Without Limits for people with disabilities.

When/Where: Saturday, 12 p.m. at , 752 N Highland Ave.

Why Go: Cupid's Undie Run ATL is a 1.5 mile run in your bedroom-best on Valentine's weekend. No, it's not crazy, just crazy serious about raising money for The Children's Tumor Foundation.

Festivities start at noon on February 11 in six cities nationwide (DC, NYC, Atlanta, Seattle, Denver and Cincinnati), then strip down for the Undie Run at 2pm, have fun and come back for post-race festivities and awards at 3:30pm.
