When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m. at , 1071 Piedmont Ave.

Why Go: The Atlanta BetlLine Eastside 10k is a run/walk showcasing parts of the undeveloped portions of the BeltLine along Piedmont Park. The race will start in Piedmont Park and will end on Kanuga Street near Monroe Drive.  Registration and pre- and post-race activities will take place at Park Tavern, located at 500 10th Street.  The race course will go through several neighborhoods including the Old Fourth Ward Park and the new skate park, before joining up with the Freedom Park Trail.

When/Where: Saturday and Sunday, at Fernbank Museum of Natural History, 767 Clifton Rd.

Why Go: Enjoy Christmas Carols sung by the the Georgia Boy Choir while visiting Fernbank.
