When/Where: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at , 801 Virginia Ave. NE

Why Go: to support Embraced, showing the community they care as they show-off their burger-making skills in hopes of winning bragging rights for the “Best Burger” in Atlanta.  Battling for "The People's Choice Burger" and "The Judges Choice Burger" the chefs will make both meat and vegetarian burgers.

Why Go: Music by SouthEastern Bluegrass Association with tents for jamming and an Open Mike Amateur Hour.  There will also be activities for kids, a bake sale and BBQ for eat-in or take-out. Proceeds benefit .

When/Where: Saturday, 9 p.m. at , 870 N. Highland Ave. NE

Why Go: Pre-party for the Black Tie Soccer Match with DJ Longshoe spinning and drink specials.  All proceeds to benefit Soccer in the Streets.

When/Where: Saturday, 7 to 11 p.m. at Ponce City Market, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE

Why Go: Kickoff party for Ponce City Martket plans. Live music by the Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins and Francine Reed. Food cooked up by top Atlanta chefs. Proceeds benefit Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and Georgia Organics.

When/Where: Sunday, 2 p.m. at , 794 N. Highland Ave. NE

Why Go: The event will also feature live music from Homefront and cold beer from Sweetwater Brewery. Registration fees are $25 per person for a single entry or $50 for a team of two with 100 percent of the registration fees being donated to the Georgia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training
