Why Go: Monthly Trash Walk with a twist! Meet neighbors this Saturday morning with a pair of gloves to walk up and down North Highland Avenue. Clean this corridor of litter as well as take stickers and graffiti tags off signs - the beginning of Spring cleaning

When/Where: Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Fire Station 19, 1063 N Highland Ave.

Why Go: Tour Atlanta’s Oldest Fire Station, Historic Fire Station #19, which has been serving Virginia-Highland and the surrounding community since June 1, 1925. Learn about Atlanta’s firefighting history and this unique living landmark. Tour takes about one hour. This event is appropriate for young preservationists over 10 years of age.

When/Where: Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at the former Walden Middle School, 320 Irwin St. NE

Why Go: Keep Atlanta Beautiful opens the Community Recycling Center the second Saturday of every month to collect recyclables including electronics, Styrofoam, ink cartridges and latex paint ($2.00 donation) and more.

When/Where: Sunday, 2 p.m. at , 1410 Ponce de Leon Ave.

Why Go: Planned by Frederick Law Olmsted in 1883, the Druid Hills neighborhood offers the gracious ambiance created by America's preeminent landscape designer. View elegant homes of diverse architectural styles created by notable architects such as Neel Reid, W.T. Downing and Philip Shutze in a lush park-like setting of curving streets and mature plantings.

All of the APC Guided Walking Tours are led by dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers. These are individuals with a passion for preservation and Atlanta that they love to share with others.

When/Where: Sunday, 5 to 10 p.m. at , 997 Virginia Ave.

Why Go: Enjoy a traditional, family-style supper while supporting local, sustainable agriculture.  Each Sunday, Chef Ian Winslade cooks up a rustic prix fixe dinner developed from the seasonal offerings of a local farm.  On special nights, diners also will have the opportunity to meet the farmer whose food is being showcased. Meet farmers from Whippoorwill Hollow Farm this Sunday.
