LifeLine Animal Project recently created a calendar, featuring our men and shelter dogs, and we’re having a calendar party to celebrate!

You are invited to our 'Men of LifeLine 2014 Calendar Party' on Monday, February 3, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Twain's Billiards and Tap in Decatur.

We'll have calendars for sale and some of our handsome guys on hand to sign them. There will also be trivia at 8 p.m. and a $3.00 beer special. Also, Twains is giving us 10% of all sales from 5 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. that day, so please tell your friends and join us for some fun!

See here for directions and if you can’t join us but would still like a calendar, you can purchase one here.

Fulton County Animal Services Pets of the Week: Yola and Barney

Meet Yola, one of the shelter’s favorite and longest staying residents! Yola is a four-year-old Staffordshire mix who lives in the kennel manager’s office. She is very affectionate, potty trained and knows some commands such as ‘sit’. As much as the staff loves her, they would love it more if she got adopted by a wonderful family! Yola is vaccinated, spayed and ready to go home today!!! She is also FREE every Friday during Free Dog Friday. Screening criteria still applies to ensure she gets a good home.

Our next pet is Barney, an old guy who is about 11 and is an Australian Shepherd mix. This sweet boy is living in one of the staff’s offices, but he deserves to live out the rest of his days in a loving home.  He is friendly and gets along with other dogs too.

If you’d like to meet Yola or Barney, please contact Kerry at 404-613-9157 or email her at: kmoyershorton@fultonanimalservices.com. To view dogs or cats available for adoption, please visit the shelter at 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, 30318 or go to www.fultonanimalservices.com/adopt.
