This week: Relax in the lushness of Lullwater Park

Located behind Clairmont Campus, is a tranquil getaway — a retreat that feels private and far away from the familiar, though it's just footsteps away from urban activity.

With hiking trails, a pond, a waterfall, a cool decaying mill, rolling hills, lots of places to picnic and even a swinging bridge, Lullwater Park is a perfect place for a weekend wind-down or a rustic lunch right in the middle of your workday.

Stroll, bike or hike along the trails, feed the ducks and geese or just prop yourself against a tree with a good book; this spot delivers wooded mystery amid its paved paths.
