“The course was designed for both speed and ease,” Glancy said. “So whether you’re a competitive runner or a neighborhood resident that wants to gather friends and push a stroller to help the community, we have you in mind.”

The race will begin at 8 a.m. at John Howell Park. Registration is $35 on active.com through Feb. 1. After Feb. 1, race registration is $40.

Participation will include a commemorative organic t-shirt and entry into a raffle for prizes from local merchants.

Registration closes Feb. 23rd and is limited to 1000 participants. There is no race day registration. In store registration is available at Phidippides Ansley Mall.
