'Quilt on the Quad' to Honor World AIDS Day
Event takes place at Emory's on Monday, Dec. 2.
For the ninth year, Emory University will hold "Quilt on the Quad" in honor of World AIDS Day.
The event takes place Monday, Dec. 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Emory's quadrangle in the heart of the campus. "Quilt on the Quad" is a display of panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt.
Panels will be displayed in the shape of a ribbon, and the event will feature a brief unfolding ceremony of the panels and a reading of the names of each individual in the display.
