Safety Alert: Rabid Raccoon in Morningside

Update: A neighbor reported Animal Control was contacted Wednesday night and set a trap for the raccoon.
A rabid raccoon was spotted in the Morningside neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
The raccoon was last seen “walking in a circle during daylight hours” at the corner of Wessynton Road and Cumberland Road, according to an alert sent to Morningside residents.
