Virginia-Highland Voice Shifts Online

Special editions will be printed twice a year

Virginia-Highland residents have one less piece of mail to look for in the mailbox.

The Virginia-Highland Voice, a monthly newsletter mailed to residents by the Virginia-Highland Civic Association, will be published online beginning in January.

The newsletter will continue to publish monthly, but will be sent to residents via email, according to Brian Gross, chair of communications for the civic association.

The group will publish print editions in June and December to help publicize Summerfest and the Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes, the organizations main fundraising events.

Gross said the electronic newsletter will have space for paid advertisements.

The decision to move the newsletter online was based on a number of factors, including cost of production and timeliness of the information.
