Help Keep Virginia Highland Beautiful at Saturday Event

Volunteers, supplies needed for fall cleanup.

This Saturday is Keep Virginia Highland Beautiful's fall neighborhood cleanup event, and volunteers and supplies are needed.

From 8 a.m. to noon volunteers will clear weeds, pick up trash and remove stickers and handbills, primarily on the North Highland Avenue corridor.

Organizers could also use the following donated supplies:

  • Lawn & leaf bags
  • Trash bags
  • Latex gloves
  • Work gloves
  • Broad spectrum weed killer
