Morningside Farmers Market to kick off annual farm tour

Ever wondered where local produce is grown?

The organizers of Morningside Farmers Market are kicking off their annual farm tours on Sunday, May 6.

The first tour of the year will be at Woodland Gardens in Athens.

The organic farm is a weekly vendor at the Morningside Farmers Market and is known for high-quality vegetables, micro-greens, herbs, fruit and cut flowers.

Tickets are $45 and include transportation, the tour and a picnic lunch.

The bus will leave Morningside at 9:30 a.m. and return around 5 p.m.

The tour is limited to 55 people.
