The third annual Art on the Atlanta BeltLine opens on Saturday, September 8, kicking off with the Krewe of the Grateful Glutton’s Lantern Parade beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Avenue / Irwin Street and the Eastside Trail. Art on the Atlanta BeltLine is two-month long temporary outdoor exhibition that is free and open to the public. The Lantern Parade invites guests to create their own lanterns and walk the Eastside Trail as dusk settles in for this outdoor event. The parade will wind down the Eastside Trail and spill into Park Tavern and Piedmont Park for a celebration. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Seed & Feed Marching Abominables.
