Mini-Street Festival Coming to Emory Village

On Sunday, Sept. 29, on North Decatur Road.

What: Reclaim the streets of Emory Village for a few hours while the road is closed to vehicles. Pedestrians, bicyclists and "human powered" activities take to the streets. Reconnect with friends and explore what’s new in the Village.

When: Sunday, Sept. 29 (3 p.m. - 6 p.m.); rain or shine

Where: Emory Village. North Decatur Road will be closed between the Lullwater Road roundabout and the Emory University roundabout (both roundabouts will remain open to traffic), and South Oxford Road to Clifton Road. Walk to the event or park for free at Emory’s Oxford Road or Fishburne visitor parking decks.

Who: Sponsored by the Alliance to Improve Emory Village and with support from Village businesses and DeKalb County. Visit www.openstreetsdekalb.com.

Why: Why not? Enjoy the beautiful weather and join friends and family to explore Emory Village. You’ll see spontaneous street activities, music, food and drink from Village vendors – and a few surprises.
