On Tuesday, Live Nation Atlanta released the names of the musical acts for the 2014 Music Midtown festival set for Sept. 19 and 20 at Piedmont Park.

The four headliners - Jack White, Eminem, John Mayer and the Zac Brown Band – will join 17 other acts for the festival that returns to the Midtown park for a fourth consecutive year.

Others scheduled to perform include: Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Iggy Azalea, Bastille, Run-D.M.C., Fitz and the Tantrums, Twenty One Pilots, NeedtoBreathe, B.o.B., Mayer Hawthorne, AER, The Strypes, Banks, Sleeper Agent, Magic Man, Bear Hands and Ron Pope.

What do you think of this year’s lineup? Let us know in the comment section below.

New this year is the fact that single-day tickets will not be available. Only two-day passes at $125 a pop (up $15 from 2013) will be sold and they go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.

Citi cardmembers will have a crack to a pre-sale from 10 a.m. Wednesday through 10 a.m. Friday via www.citiprivatepass.com

For more info, see the Music Midtown website and this interview that Live Nation Atlanta President Peter Colon gave to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution here.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few of those bands (Jack White, RUN DMC, Fitz and the Tantrums), but not enough to pay the money they're asking. Would love to see a local band stage sometime in the future.

If this is the line up then better go this year for nostalgia reasons alone. Cause it will be the last year. There are a couple of bright spots but overall just a dud. Cue Crickets...........
