Day 1 of this Music Midtown was certainly a hit. And organizers and festival attendees alike hope Day 2 will be, too. And dry, but that could prove to be a problem with forecasters putting the chance of rain on Saturday at 90 percent.
But Music Midtown fans will come nonetheless, just like they did Friday to see and hear headliners Journey, along with Jane’s Addiction, Cake, 2 Chainz, The Mowgli’s, Phoenix and more. See here for a review of Friday’s performances.

What performances did you like or not like during Friday’s opening day of Music Midtown?
The music starts early on Saturday at 12:45 p.m. and goes all day and into the night. The Red Hot Chili Peppers serve as the Saturday headliners, but among the other 13 musical acts performing on Day 2 include Queens of the Stone Age, Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Weezer, The Black Lips and Artic Monkeys.
