Weather this Weekend? More Storms

Forecast calls for possible severe storms this afternoon and tonight. By Sunday the storms are predicted to be more scattered.

Wondering what the weather in metro Atlanta is looking like for this weekend? Almost exactly like last weekend - with storms - to varying degrees - predicted Friday through Sunday.

The worst would likely happen early afternoon Friday and in the evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Severe thunderstorms are predicted to be isolated and forming after 2 p.m. and into the evening.

Showers and scattered thunderstorms could happen between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday. The high is expected to be 88.

The service is projecting cloudy and thunderstorms conditions on Saturday, with a quarter-inch of rain possible. Partly sunny and thunderstorms on Sunday, with storms become more isolated.
