Home Decor Shop Armour & Co. Closings its Doors

The furnishings and decor shop at the corner of North Highland and Amsterdam is closing its doors on Sunday.

 

Armour & Co. is closing with Sunday planned as its last day of business.

Owner Jayme Leffler was busy with sales Friday and declined a request for an interview. She confirmed that her home furnishings and decor store on North Highland Ave. has some furniture, accessories and fixtures still available for purchase.

Another local business that's winding down operations is Poncey-Highland's Re-Inspiration Store, which may continue as as an online-only operation. The gift shop, which focuses on art, accessories and other items made out of recycled and reclaimed materials, will operate Friday-Sunday until a closing date is determined.
