Fab'rik Set to Open at Emory Point

Another retailer opens at the mixed-use development in the Clifton Corridor.

The women's clothing boutique fab'rik is preparing to open its Emory Point location this week.

The store's Facebook page says the new location will open Thursday.[Note: The store's opening has been moved to Friday, Oct. 19.]

Founded in Midtown Atlanta, the retailer prices most items under $100 and each location carries limited numbers of each piece to reduce the odds that fashionistas will bump into others wearing the same outfit. Fab'rik now has locations in six states.

The opening will the second at Emory Point, which recently announced the signing of leases by Burgerfi, Bonefish Grill, Paradise Biryani Pointe, LOFT and Francesca’s Collections.

Men's clothier JoS A. Banks opened in the shopping center earlier this month.

Emory Point is a mixed-use project across from the Centers for Disease Control and just down the street from Emory University.

Atlanta-based Cousins Properties is partnering with Atlanta-based Gables Residential on the project.

The first phase will cost more than $100 million to complete and will include 443 luxury apartments and 80,000 square-feet of retail space.
