Calling all sauce-connoisseurs.
In honor of National Barbecue Month, in Virginia-Highland is hosting a sauce contest Saturday, May 28.
The competition will be scored by a panel of judges and patrons at the restaurant on Saturday. The winning sauce will be featured at DBA in June.

The deadline to enter is Thursday, May 26, and up to 20 participants can enter. A sample of the sauce must be delivered to the restaurant by 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 28. Participants must supply four quarts of sauce.

- Sauce can be any style but must use a ketchup base.
- All entrants must agree to disclose recipe to D.B.A. Barbecue.
