Gino’s NY Pizza to Open on Cheshire Bridge

Gino’s to replace the shuttered Franco’s

Pizza lovers in the neighborhood have something to look forward to this summer.

Gino’s NY Pizza — based in Peachtree Corners — will open a second location on 1740 Cheshire Bridge Rd. next month.

The Italian restaurant will move into the shuttered Franco’s Pizza location.

The 3,750 square-foot restaurant will have 150 seats and a full bar pending a liquor license.

The Lindridge Martin Manor Neighborhood Association voted Wednesday night to recommend approval of the liquor license. The next step in the process is a recommendation from the neighborhood planning unit, approval from the liquor license review board and finally the official stamp of approval from Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.

The first and only current Gino’s location

Owners plan to open the Cheshire Bridge Road location within "a month or so" after minimal interior repairs and painting is complete.

The restaurant hours are tentatively set for 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday.

This place is been already opened for few weeks now. I came in today but unfortunately im not pleased with the food nor with the service. They brought me the ckeck before i finish my meal and never bothered to ask if i need a box. I wanted to substitute a sauce for another one anc i got charged 3 dollars extra w/out being told about it. Even thou the tortellini were tasty i will not recommend this place to anyone. Sorry guys!

I have placed several to go orders from this Ginos and I have been very pleased with both the service and the food. They even made a special order pizza bread (pizza hogie) and gave me extra sauce with no addional fee. I highly recommed this place the pizza is awsome.

Never again!!! Service is horrible hanging out and chating by the bar instead of taking care of customers. Garlic bread is a cheap hoagie filled with bunch of cheese! No silverware no napkins I don't recommend this place to anyone

Went there tonight with my family. The staff was VERY friendly, the food was excellent (kids had spaghetti and meat balls), wife and I had Chicken parmesan and Meatball subs, a house salad and garlic knots….everything was fantastic. We usually go to Osteria, Doc Chey, Mellow Mushroom, and George's for Friday family dinner night. We will add Geno's to our list of options…
