Pie Shop Considers Virginia Highland for Relocation

The Buckhead shop hopes to raise $35,000 for its relocation.

A Roswell Road pie shop called... wait for it... Pie Shop... is considering relocating to Virginia Highland – among two other nearby locations – and is looking to supporters to help with the move through crowdfunding.

The pie shop launched a fundraising effort on Kickstarter with the goal of raising $35,000 for the relocation. The shop had raised just more than $6,000 as of early Wednesday morning.

From the shop's Kickstarter page:

Space rarely opens up in the heart of these neighborhoods, so while we have wanted to branch out for a while now, we waited to launch this campaign until the timing was just right. Though we can't say specifically which buildings, we are talking with several landlords in Virginia-Highland, Decatur, and Inman Park. The vibrancy of any of these neighborhoods would be an ideal match for Pie Shop's second location.

The shop must reach its fundraising goal by Friday, Oct. 4 to get any of the money raised.
