Employers seeking out liberal arts majors

Emory University seniors are discovering employers want liberal arts majors.

Emory University seniors are preparing for graduation and life after receiving their degree. In the process, many are discovering their liberal arts education has helped in the job-search process. The combination of critical thinking and analysis is broadening their opportunities as they approach graduation. Paul Fowler, Emory's Career Center director, says there's been a 5%-10% increase in corporate recruiters coming to campus over the last few years. He says no matter the industry, the problem-solving skills of a liberal arts major is in demand.
