Emory Village Shoppers Complain About Booting

They say they parked in the lots of the stores where they shopped. The booting company says it did nothing wrong.

Parking can be hard to find in Emory Village, but some shoppers have a new problem.

Several complained their cars were unfairly booted by Alpha Booting Company while they parked in the store lots reserved for customers, according to CBS Atlanta. They say they were customers and it cost $75 to get the boot removed.

The TV station said,

"[The booting company's Frederick] Johnson, in a telephone interview, insisted he is not unfairly booting people. Johnson said most times the people who complain left the property then come back later to buy something and get a receipt after they've been booted."

Shoppers lodged this same complaint about two years ago.
