  • EXPLORING NATURE WITH YOUR CHILD

When/Where: Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the .
Why Go: On Thursday evenings, your children can bring their found natural objects like leaves, unknown plants, nests and feathers and other unidentified objects, and show them off to the group.  The instructor will then identify the found items and proceed with a featured topic or activity. Weather permitting, the group will take their new found knowledge with them on a walk through Fernbank Forest.   
Pricing:  Free and no pre-registration required.

When/Where: Friday at 9:00am at the . 
Why Go: Great exercise for Mom and fun for baby - get an aerobic workout with your baby at your side.  Flotation seats are provided for your babies 15 lbs to 24 months of age. You do not have to be a member of Athletic Club Northeast to register for this class.
Pricing: $18.00 per class or 6 weeks of classes for $90.00 (starts this Friday and runs through April 15.)

  • DRUID HILLS HIGH SCHOOL CHARITY FASHION SHOW

When/Where: Friday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at .
Why Go: For your tweens and teens, the Druid Hills High School Animal Rights Club is putting on this event with the proceeds to benefit PAWS Atlanta.
Pricing: $5.00

When/Where: Friday evening from 9:00pm (or dark) to 10:30pm at the .
Why Go: So far, we are supposed to have clear skies on Friday evening - if the skies stay clear, take the opportunity to join a Fernbank astronomer to observe the stars, planets, moons and more through the largest telescope in the southeastern United States.  
Pricing: Free.

When/Where: Saturday at 12:00pm, Peachtree Street, Downtown Atlanta.
Why Go:  Cheer as over 200 units and 2011 Grand Marshal and Ireland’s first Consul General in Atlanta, Paul Gleeson, proceed down Peachtree Street in Atlanta’s 129th St. Patrick’s Day Parade. After you watch the parade, stop in at Underground Atlanta from 12:00pm to 5:00pm for the St. Patrick’s Day Festival
