Well, time with our loved ones doesn’t usually manifest itself like the parting of the Red Sea, a massive and undeniable pause in your everyday life. It must be cut out and protected against all interlopers, held aside as a sacred spot in your online calendar or your day planner - whatever you use to block off hours of the day.

Whether you decide to make Tuesday movie night (complete with pizza and popcorn) or knock off early on Friday for a picnic in the park, you can grab those hours with some planning and even apply a little creativity to how you’ll fill them. 

Whether you work away from home or in it, making plans to spend focused time with family means acknowledging that it won’t happen all by itself.
